I have finally decided to buy a two wheeler. I have taken a decision to buy a scooter rather a bike after considering lot of other things like my physique, road conditions, pressure that gets mounted when fella roadies make lot of noice when the bike stops in the traffic etc. This was tough in the sense that lot of people dint like my decision. Not every decision is appreciated by everyone!!
I have short listed Activa, DIO from Honda and Nova from kinetic after considering almost 6 scooters. I eliminated Nova for its weight. I am still contemplating whether Activa or DIO. Not too strong reasons to shortlist these two. Brand, service centres, weight of the vehicle were the major factors that I considered. Reviews on these scooters in www.mouthshut.com did give a good picture. Activa in three years time had no complaints what so ever is another major fact that impressed me. I have sold some of my holdings in TCS to arrange funds. Correction started just the day after I sold. Not a good news. It is still not decided whether ACTIVA or DIO. Mostly, Activa given its stability and proven track record wins over DIO and become my carrier. Let us see if it really wins. A decision would be taken by EoD, today. I will post a review of my decision after riding the scooter this weekend.

Go for car man.
This is also one of the advice/question that is posed by lot of friends. I dint post it only by mistake. CAR is not an asset but a liability if I go with Richard Kiyosaki. Read my previous post Rich Dad Poor Dad fr more on all that. It is not only my financial literacy but also the financial status that made me to think just a scooter not beyond. It is not easy to maintain and also not holding as many stocks as I need to buy a CAR at this point of time.
