No assigned tasks mean a lot of free time!

It has been a very long day in terms of everything. Day started off well with a trip to Visu Consultants. That was even long drive to start with. Driving from Visu to office with a man behind isn't an easy task given the traffic conditions at 9 AM.
I planned to meet the HR personnel, handling the 'Maitree'(www.maitree.com) initiatives,to find out on registering for Toast Master's club. Second thing apart from the usual work that is planned for today is to catch up with the P&G account manager. I even added them to my tasks list on my mobile phone so that I do not skip them today. Oh GOD!! When you plan so cautiously, things just do not happen as you would like them to. It reminds me of the famous Murphy's laws.
I tried calling the HR personnel and the account manager in the morning just after my mobile alerted me. They are on leave today and no one has information abt their return dates. Just had to drop in an e-mail to them. I mostly like to speak and get clarified than e-mail my queries, when there is a chance. I have rescheduled the tasks for tomorrow hoping I do not have to modify the dates again. I was expecting a lot after this planned meeting with the P&G account manager and to my surprise he is on leave today. Anyway, when there is a lot of time at my disposal, why not do something that interests me? ISB application process has just commenced. Going through the ISB application form and thinking of writing essays and get them scrutinized by a few friends this time.
