At a time when news agencies finding it hard to bring out something sensational, TN police took the night off and killed the notorious killer, Veerappan. The police has been blamed for not nabbing him for almost two decades. It would have added more spice to the news if poice had caught him alive. This would have assisted the police to prove the allegations made on different extremist groups operating within the Tamilnadu state. This is too much of an expectation from police knowing the strength of the police forces. Once lost is lost forever! It is told many a times by senior police officers that the task becomes virtually impossible for the police once the villain enters the Satymangalam forests.
