Verbal section screwed my mood off!
I decided to assess myself on GMAT yesterday. I have collected 9 exams, published by ETS, from Visu. Having started with the first section of the first test, I started to develop a strange feeling about the GMAT. Critical reasoning was the first section to start with. It was very tough but somehow managed to complete the section on time. I thought that results would be a big humiliation. I was lacking confidence, confused between two answer choices and could not interpret the question right many a times. Just to gain confidence, started off with DS and it looked pretty good. I was far more convenient taking this section. I could not resist from assessing the two sections that I have taken. My scores in DS and CR were 85% and 35% respectively. I faired very very badly in CR. One needs to have a great amount of practice for cracking verbal sections despite having good reasoning, analytical, and language skills. I have a lot more catching up to do particularly in CR and SC. The plan is to practice more quants and achieve perfection in these sections before starting with CR, SC and RC. Plan looks to be promising but I know what it takes to execute?
