Expectations Vs Reality..

After putting a lot of effort in my previous assignment, I moved to take up an assignment that did not satisfy me as far as the amount of work is concerned. It helped me in a way to plan for future but disappointed me more often than otherwise. It is foolish to compare both the assignments in terms of quality for the simple reason that they are not similar in lot of aspects. Quantity could always be compared even when they are not similar. I started comparing quality of the project with the level of expectations that I had. I am sure I expected too much but it did not appear/measure up anywhere near my expectations. So sad!! To make things better, either my expectations have to be rock bottom or someone at the top has to do something to bring in more quality work from clients. First option is at my hand but is a tough task for someone like me. I am afraid of the option that I am left with. Let me start the journey today to compromise at times, forget what I expected and revise my level of expectations, push every inch to get involved in available quality stuff.
