Ran 10K for Hyderabad

I am very much conscious about the drop in the frequency of blogging but not doing much to set things right at the moment. But, I will regain the momentum and post more and more in coming days. I can’t excuse for the drop that I have been busy because I can easily find 10-15 min daily for blogging. I am not opening my blog in office because these days for reasons those are very obvious. I am most likely to have the landline phone installed at my home today. I will have Internet service enabled to surf the sites that I do not wish to surf from office.
Participated in Hyderabad 10K Run, sponsored by corporate houses like Intelligroup, Lanko Systems to name a few. This initiative was to generate funds for those kids who are undergoing cancer treatment in some of the corporate hospitals in and around Hyderabad. It was also to create awareness about fitness, health and pollution etc amongst the masses. Over 30,000 enthusiastic people including politicians, film personalities, sportspersons, armed forces, school kids and of course hi-tech workers were part of the mega event. Run started at 7:30 AM after a warm up session and a speech by the chief Minister. I along side Firoz covered the 10 KMs distance in less than 3 hours time. It was a rare opportunity to have the famous Necklace Road without any traffic for three long hours early in the morning like that.
