e-mail bounced back with a suggestion...

Another fresh assignment means a lot of work to do in coming days. I am asked to work on a different assignment from now. Noone has a clue about the client and requirements but everyone is aware that it has to be developed on Informatica. I have been working on Informatica 6.1 but noone here has an idea about the version that will be used by the client. But, I have a different team of people to report to. It has been a different experience working with this new team. One such experience was a mail from one of the leaders yesterday. I was asked to send in a mail attaching the self study plan. I received a reply for my e-mail. I was curious to look at the review comments but to my surprise it was a comment on my writing style. It looked something like this.

Hi XXX,
Please make sure that whatever mails you are writing to others, have a proper format.
The mail should look systematic and full sentences and full words.
Just a suggestion for future :)

Regards
XXX

What a way to start? I will value the suggestion and try in future not to be casual while sendng an e-mail. I generally read the mail before sending but did not do that as I thouht it was not a mail to an external person. But, I should have read the mail before sending. Thanks for the suggestion.
