I wanted to post this on 31st Dec itself but failed to finish the task. looks like, schedule slippage and Changa go hand in hand.
2004 was not a great eventful year except few things that happened. One thing that I least expected in the beginning of 2004 was leaving s-GOV group. It happened in May and I went on to join the P&G relation. One more thing that I could successfully postpone till last year was surgery to my hand. My father went impatient and finally I had to take one-month leave from office in Feb'04. The surgery was not successful but assisted to a good extent, which means nothing to worry. German language course and swimming were good fun in the last summer. One good thing that happened last year was starting my MBA journey.
Last year, i did not have anything to take on. But, this year clearly throws good number of challenges. Journey started but challenge is how good it is done with. Professionally, onsite opportunity is clearly a challenge but I am still not clear if I can do anything about it.
I tasted Champagne for the first time on the New Year morning. New year celebrations beat my expectations. Booze dominated the celebrations all the way. Resolutions for this year are not too many. First thing is I should reduce the frequency at which I am drinking. Intake should also be reduced. I should prepare for my GMAT with little more discipline. There are very simple things like cleaning up my comp table, using the task planner effectively, joining GERMAN course(Level-II) at MMB, blogging regularly.
I WISH EVERYONE OUT THERE A VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR. WISH NEW YEAR BRINGS GREAT DEAL OF CHEERFULNESS IN EVERYONE OF YOU. HAVE FUN AND TAKE CARE.
